Our Leadership Team
Colin is a scientist and engineer by training and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
He was appointed Chief Executive of Wessex Water in 1988. He is now Chief Executive of the YTL UK Group, which also includes YTL Developments, YTL’s UK Hotels, GENEco and a number of retail businesses. He became Chair of Business West in April 2022.
Colin was awarded an OBE for services to business and WaterAid in the 2012 Queen's Birthday Honours and has Honorary Doctorates in Engineering from the Universities of the West of England and Bristol.
Ben trained at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Bristol and became a member of the ICAEW in 2016. On moving into industry, Ben has specialised in the construction sector, working within main contracting and development across the South West.
Since joining YTL Developments in 2023, he has worked with the executive team to drive excellence in risk management, reporting, process, systems & controls. He now sits as Finance Director across both YTL Developments and YTL Construction, the Group’s new main contracting business.
Jon has a track record of success at senior levels across some of the UK’s most respected housebuilders and mixed-use developers, including Crest Nicholson, Berkeley Group, ISG, Dandara and Solum.
Since joining YTL Developments in 2018, he has held overall responsibility for Sales, Marketing, Customer Relations and Asset Management on the executive team, growing the firm from a new venture to a multi-award-winning developer.
Having trained in both Architecture and Planning, Seb has spent a career at some of the property industry’s most innovative developers, starting out at Urban Splash, Skanska and Studio Hive before joining YTL Developments in 2017.
He now leads the team responsible for one of the most exciting regeneration projects in the country. He is also a Trustee of Design West, which champions quality design and placemaking across the South West.
